World Refugee Day - Together at Home

In a unique, virtual event, we will celebrate as East Tennessee communities World Refugee Day: Together at Home. Thanks to our partners, volunteers and wonderful refugee community, you will have the chance to experience the local diversity and contributions refugees make in a unique way. There will be client stories, language lessons, fashion and music. Learn to make a dish with a Colombian client and chef, watch a movie or read a book documenting the refugee experience, advocate for refugees locally and nationally, and support refugee resettlement happening right now in Knoxville and Chattanooga. And of course—we must dance. All from the comfort of your home. Together. All of us.

Order your own World Refugee Day celebration kit and find all the resources to help you celebrate the day at: https://wp.me/P80mmd-u3

Chattanooga lunches from Jinan's Kitchen and The Mad Priest are SOLD OUT! Thanks to everyone for purchasing!

In Knoxville, will be offering a "World Refugee Day" special on June 20, plus the opportunity to purchase a meal for a single-mom refugee family. Meals go on sale at Yassin's, http://www.yassinsfalafelhouse.com.
