Millennium Stage: C4 Trio

For World Refugee Day, join UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, and the Kennedy Center for a celebration of the courage and resilience of people who have been forced to flee their homes due to war, persecution and violence. Join for a free concert with C4 Trio, a Venezuelan music ensemble mixing elements of traditional music, jazz, pop, world music and Latin music. This celebrated Latin Grammy-winning trio of cuatro players features Jorge Glem, Hector Molina, and Edward Ramírez. Despite the challenges of unprecedented displacement and the pandemic, refugees and displaced people have stepped up and continue to contribute to a stronger, safer and more vibrant world. UNHCR leads global action to protect and assist people forced to flee and helps ensure they have a safe place to call home where they can build a better future.

This event is free, tickets required. You can reserve your ticket online starting June 8 at 10am here and tickets will also be available the day of the concert at the Kennedy Center’s Hall of States box office. Advance reservations do not guarantee a seat, and patrons are encouraged to arrive early. Seating is first come, first served. Standing room is available behind the seated area. This event will also be livestreamed on the Kennedy Center’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
