World Refugee Day Celebration

Each year, World Refugee Day honors the courage, strength and determination of women, men and children who are forced to flee their homeland under threat of persecution, conflict and violence. It is also a time to the celebrate the lives of our refugees in our own community here in Southern New Jersey, providing an opportunity for all attendees to meet, encounter, and welcome our neighbors – answering to Pope Francis’ call to “Share the Journey” with migrants and refugees.

This year, World Refugee Day will be held on June 23rd at Christ Our Light (402 Kings Hwy N, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034) from 11:00 AM – 2:30 PM.

The event is free, and individuals and families of all ages are welcome to attend and participate. Join us for a day of encounter and reflection, as well as food, fun, and games!
