World Refugee Day

Join us for an evening of food, libations, and conversation as we work to raise awareness about refugees in Chicagoland.

Sponsored by Imperfect Produce, Revolution Brewing and InTouch Solutions, the Chicago Refugee Coalition (CRC) will be hosting World Refugee Day -- a day of awareness, observance, and remembrance of refugees worldwide.

We believe that we have a responsibility to be good stewards to those in need and should work to make the spaces that we call home more open, equitable, and welcoming for those seeking refuge. This event will further bring awareness to the modern refugee crisis as well as further support the mission of CRC.

The event starts at 5:30 P.M. and will run to 8:30 P.M. This will include drinks, a curated hors d'oeuvres menu by Executive Chef Kus Folkers, a curated art exhibition of refugee portraits by painter Pam Ingalls (see below for her painting of Moharam Bi, a Rohingyan refugee from Myanmar).

Refugee beneficiaries will also be in attendance to share their stories and testimonials of how CRC's work has positively impacted their lives.

We look forward to welcoming you!
