World Refugee Day Virtual Town Hall Celebration

Crises test who we are as a community. In the midst of the current COVID-19 crisis, refugee service agencies and refugee and immigrant leaders are responding to the needs of those impacted by the pandemic.

This year also marks the 40th anniversary of the Refugee Act of 1980, which formalized the U.S. resettlement program and asylum system. Join us online as we stand in solidarity with our refugee neighbors and commemorate World Refugee Day. Hear how former refugees serving on the front lines are making us stronger in the time of crisis, and what local and state officials are responding.

Saturday, June 20th from 1 pm – 2:30 pm
