Service Doesn't Stop - Houston

Join Veterans for American Ideals, The Mission Continues, Islamic Relief USA, and The Alliance of Texas on Martin Luther King Day weekend for a service project in the Cambodian community of Rosharon, Texas.

In 2017, Rosharon was nearly destroyed by Hurricane Harvey. Rosharon is home to roughly 100 Cambodian refugee families who have settled in the area since 1985. This community predominantly relied on agriculture to sustain themselves, a way of life that has not recovered since the hurricane hit 15 months ago. Volunteers will be distributing food to families in collaboration with the local religious communities.

Who: Any adults 18 and older. Children under the age of 18 must have parental consent or supervision to attend.
