March for Justice - Immigrants and Refugees are Welcome Here

As DACA recipients remain in jeopardy, TPS for Salvadorans, Haitians and others is gone, undocumented workers face deportation, and direct attacks continue on the refugee admissions program, we invite our community to march in solidarity with our immigrant and refugee neighbors. We will gather at Syracuse City Hall, march past the Onondaga County Sheriffs Department to the Immigrations and Customs Enforcement Office at 401 S. Salina St. where we will stop for speakers and continue our message of calling on all Central New Yorkers of good will to help protect those threatened by these policies and demand that our elected representatives - federal, state and local resist and seek to change these racist policies. We will continue the march to the Federal Building, corner of Washington and Clinton St. for concluding speakers.

Organized by the Workers Center of Central New York and CNY Solidarity Coalition in collaboration with the Syracuse Peace Council, NY Immigration Coalition, New York Civil Liberties Union and others, this march marks the anniversary of over 1,000 people flooding the Syracuse Airport to protest Trump's Muslim ban and anti-immigrant policies.
