International Rescue Committee kicks off Refugee Voices, a platform for former refugees to advocate, tell their story, volunteer, or take other actions in support of refugee programs in the U.S. Guests will enjoy cuisine from refugee-owned business, Eat Offbeat, and have the opportunity to meet other refugees from around the world and share their ideas for how they can give back and support the refugee resettlement program. Attendees will not be asked to share their stories unless they choose to, but are invited to participate in a lively discussion of their ideas and perspective in helping to craft this important initiative.
