#Welcome75K Refugees Press Conference with Tucson Mayor

During this press conference, the Mayor of Tucson, along with other community leaders and refugee organizations, will come together and demand the Trump Administration raise the number of refugee admissions.

At the depth of the largest global refugee crisis in recorded history, with over 68 million people displaced from their homes, 25 million of whom are registered refugees, the U.S. Refugee Resettlement Program is being systematically dismantled. Refugee Resettlement not only saves lives for those in most need, but has always had strong U.S. bipartisan support since its inception in the early 80s. It encourages other countries to keep their doors open to people seeking refuge and asylum, and encourages regional stability and global security.
